Jody Connor is a strategic communications expert for public and private infrastructure projects - with 25 years’ experience across complex and potentially controversial projects.
For the past decade, Jody has worked as a strategist helping to build relationships around challenging urban renewal questions from new builds to refurbishments and remediation.
She has worked across the transport, water, education, health and nuclear sectors to guide stakeholder engagement strategies for complex infrastructure development and service reforms.
While working for Transport for NSW, Jody chaired the inaugural cross-agency passenger information committee to align public information and engagement campaigns across the portfolio. She also led the stakeholder strategy for the reform of bus services in metropolitan Sydney, engaging with all NSW MPs, Councillors, and local community groups across metropolitan Sydney.
In the nuclear sector, Jody worked with various levels of government to provide stakeholder engagement advice and guidance to prepare for the return of Australia’s reprocessed radioactive waste.
As a member of the International Association of Public Participation, Jody is passionate about an evidence-based approach, providing clients with stakeholder inputs that make sense to the business and add value to decision-making.
